It is in a lovely village in a very beautiful part of Hampshire. The welcome wine and chocolates were much appreciated and our dog enjoyed the secure rear garden. My only “negative” would be the use of white blinds throughout - I’m sure these are very practical but (for me) I need to have a darker room, especially in summer months. This would not prevent me from re-booking as I would take an eye mask but I do like to be able to use darker curtains/blinds to stop the sun from heating up a room and from waking me up in the early hours on holiday.

Could not have asked for more. Perfect get away for 3 generations of family. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the comforts of home, with the best equipped kitchen we've ever seen in a holiday cottage. The views from the kitchen and top of garden were lovely. I had my morning brew on the bench at the top of the garden each morning, before anyone else was awake and it was glorious and so quiet. The village is exactly how you imagine a picturesque English village and everyone was so welcoming (not going to lie, I want to live there!). The fact that the corner shop and fantastic pub were just a few minutes walk away, made it even more enjoyable. 7 of us had our evening meals around the spacious dining table and had great fun playing the board games provided (articulate had us in tears from laughing). The dogs also had a fantastic stay. They enjoyed the large, secure garden and beautiful walks around the village, and running in the fields behind the church. Highly recommended cottage, which will be raving about for a long time.

The owners have thought of everything. This is your typical chocolate box ‘Escape to the country’ cottage. I think the fact my mum wants to live here says it all.
