For scrumptious tearoom treats and pretty thatched cottage views, visit Brighstone (3.5 miles), or explore history at Calbourne Water Mill and Rural Museum (7 miles), while further afield, you can discover Queen Victoria's holiday home, Osborne House (13.5 miles), full of coastal garden inspiration and a fascinating insight into the daily life of the Victorian royal family.
