Inside, the barn is an 'upside-down' home with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor, whilst upstairs is the living area with great views across the village plus a modern and stylish kitchen / diner. That said, you may not do much cooking as the excellent Feathered Nest (pub) is a few hundred yards down the lane and one of the most popular pubs in the area - which enjoys spectacular views from the garden (http://www.thefeatherednestinn.co.uk) For those who like a little bit of exclusive shopping you can pop to Daylesford Organics in Kingham - one of the pre-eminent Cotswolds' destinations!

We have an electric car. When we arrived we were very very low on charge after the journey down (our fault I admit) and needed to put a few miles back into the car battery for safety. Normally you can do this with a trickle feed known as a granny charge by using a three pin plug in the premises. It just puts a few miles into the car to get you to a fast charger elsewhere. We couldnât do that because there was insufficient power in the house electricity supply and it might have been a disaster on our first day. The electricity is adequate for the utilities in the house but not for the car charging. Not normally a problem, but in these days of increasing electric vehicles I do think that this matter should be pointed out because some people will rely on a few miles of charge in the same way we did! Other than this it is a great premises.

It is appointed to a very high standard and extremely well equipped. The location is very quiet but extremely convenient for all that the Cotswolds has to offer and the views are beautiful. There is a lovely village pub serving excellent food. We would most certainly stay in this property again.
