Located right on the point at Flushing, overlooking Falmouth Harbour, New Quay House is a very special and extremely comfortable large home which truly feels like home as soon as you walk in. It is ideal for a family or a group of friends who want tons of space in convivial surroundings. The dining room and kitchen on the ground floor and the living room and one of the shower rooms are on the first floor. All of the three bedrooms are all on the second floor along with another shower room.
Due to its position, Flushing is said to be one of the warmest villages in the United Kingdom. The beaches at Kiln are extremely popular in the summer months, offering superb views of Falmouth Docks, the Carrick Roads and St. Anthony’s Head. There is a fish restaurant located on Ferry Quay and two local pubs. Flushing Regatta week is held annually during late July or early August, and features water-based activities such as bathtub racing, rowing, swimming and sailing races, sand-castle building contests, a mini-marathon through Mylor and Flushing, an open-air church service, a pub quiz, crab catching and a carnival on Saturday night, and has achieved marked popularity locally. If you are looking for a slick, modern, trendy property this is not for you but, if you want a really relaxed, unspoilt, spacious historic house with stunning views, then don’t hesitate! A security deposit of £200 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we will take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

This is our third visit to this quirky and roomy waterside house. It’s not super modern but it’s very well equipped and the location and waterside garden with summer house are second to none. Suzie (caretaker) is always helpful.

We have just returned from the most magical holiday at New Quay House, Flushing.The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We are certainly going to miss waking up to the incredible views overlooking the harbour.The locals were welcoming and it really is the perfect, picture postcard village.Thank you so much!

New Quay House is a very special place. The views from the windows are truly spectacular, especially the lounge and main bedroom. The building is from the time when Falmouth was the centre of the steam packet service, and Flushing is where the ships captains lived. We found it very comfortable and very spacious. Suzy was very helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay again!
