A truly unique and enchanting cottage. In appearance a traditional Suffolk cottage, opening into a cosy, contemporary living room and then into an unexpectedly spacious, modern kitchen/dining area. With a large, enclosed, terraced garden at the back, Myrtle Cottage’s front garden was conceived by a renowned landscape design firm, thereby continuing the contemporary and distinct feel of the property as a whole. Completing the cottage is the master bedroom with 6’ super king bed, and two twin bedrooms.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Very well equipped. Very comfy beds. Great welcome hamper and full fridge, including toilet rolls and toiletries. Lovely towels. Very friendly owner. Beautiful gardens. I think the living room would be a bit small for six people. The conservatory and bedroom sky light could do with some blinds, was very hot in the sun. Love Rural Retreat cottages, our third time using and will definitely use again.

Immaculately clean, homely and well equipped. We loved the kitchen space with the lovely big table for eating around and outdoor areas were great too. It's a very comfortable and cosy cottage with thoughtful touches such as welcome hamper and wood for the fire. Luxurious underfloor heating meant it was lovely and warm all the time.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful part of the world. Well equipped kitchen, good outdoor space with plenty of seating and a large bbq. The cottage sleeps six but unless you were a family group, I think you might struggle. One of the bathrooms is a small ensuite (not off the main bedroom) and the other is located off the kitchen which isn't ideal. The lounge is small but cosy and was fine for two of us but not for six. The decor and furnishings were lovely throughout and a lot of care has obviously been taken with this property. Parking is not directly outside the cottage but we had no trouble finding a space for one car.
