Everything needed kitchen wise was there. Shame that the towel heating rail decided not to work during our Christmas visit. Peaceful and calm along the canal path for a muddy walk with all the rain we had lately. May I suggest a few little solar panel lights along the path from the parking area to the cottage to enable visitors where they are treading when they arrive after dusk. Overall a lovely week where we enjoyed the wood fire.

It was good to watch passing boats and the wildlife. The cottage is well equipped. I just felt that the sofa should be replaced as it isn't comfortable in my opinion. The bed in contrast is very comfortable. The welcome basket was great, the best I have experienced. Apart from a very brief meeting with the owner on arrival when I had a problem with the key safe, I didn't see the owners.

Views overlooking the canal at the front and countryside and pond behind. Well equipped and plenty of space for two people. Nice outside area to sit out and watch the boats go by.
