Dating back to the 17th century this charming, spacious and well-equipped farmhouse is located in a glorious south facing position overlooking the fields and fells of Wensleydale. There are beamed ceilings and views across open farmland from many of its windows. The property is complemented by an attached barn conversion – The Laithe. The generous and adaptable accommodation offers spacious living and sleeping arrangements with eight bedrooms, two sitting rooms and a large dining kitchen as well as a breakfast kitchen. Large family groups and friends holidaying together will discover for themselves the flexibility Ingleby Lodge can offer. Whether the property is enjoyed as a large ’open house’ or guests choose to separate the accommodation to best suit their own arrangements, this delightful property is becoming quite a find for larger numbers.

The private south facing patio and walled garden provides an excellent opportunity in which to relax and enjoy the scenery after a day out exploring and mesmerise at the most spectacular blanket of sparkling starts on a night. Ideally situated for walks, fell running or cycling directly from the doorstep, the farmhouse is perfect for families or friends wishing to enjoy short breaks or holidays in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Close by the pretty villages of Bainbridge (1 mile) and Askrigg (2 miles) are within walking distance providing pubs, delis and tearooms serving good food, and the market town of Hawes (4 miles) has tea rooms, pubs, convenience stores and interesting small shops to browse around. Slightly further along the dale, the historic town of Richmond has a variety of amenities along with a Georgian Theatre and Norman castle. Leyburn has a weekly market and Tennants Auction House is well worth a visit to hunt for a bargain. The cathedral city of Ripon, and Skipton with its medieval castle, are also worthy of a visit. Good fishing is available by day ticket from the local Angling Association on the nearby River Ure.
