There are three bedrooms, one king-size double, which can be a twin on request, boasting an en-suite shower room, plus one double bedroom and one ground floor twin, meaning this cottage can sleep six people. There's also a ground floor shower room, along with a first floor bathroom, a kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside, there is off road parking for four cars along with an enclosed, front lawned garden with furniture and a small barbecue. S6414 offers pleasant holiday accommodation with fantastic fishing, golfing and walking nearby, and wonderful views stretching across the surrounding scenery.

    "Although S6414 is in a very quiet location with only the owners property and Bothy near by, there is easy access to local facilities and amenities. Not having Wi-Fi or service to mobile phones wouldn't suit everyone but for us it enhanced the peace and quiet of the location. There is a land line for outside contact and mobile phone services are available if you travel down the road. ..."

    "It was a lovely house, extremely well-appointed and with fabulous views over Glen Esk. Its only drawback is no internet, which is great if you want to be ultra-peaceful, but rather a pain if you need to keep in touch (we have elderly relatives for example) or want to do a bit of work during the holiday. I was rather horrified to discover how dependent we are these days on being in touch! Also the very nice shops in Edzell don't sell much in the way of veg, so you need to arrive well-stocked up."

S6414 is located in a beautiful location, is like home from home, had everything we wanted or needed. It was lovely to come home to the peace and quiet, the only sounds from the birdlife and the sheep. If it weren't forthe fact it is a 24hr flight from home in Australia we would make an annual pilgrimage. We all loved it!"
