In an elevated position above Tighnabruaich and with stunning views across the Kyles of Bute, this detached, former coach house has been tastefully renovated and offers the perfect holiday base for exploring the Cowal Peninsula. Surrounded by lochs and glens with some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland, there are many leisurely walks and unspoilt beaches to explore. The area offers a variety of outdoor activities and an abundance of wildlife. You can hop over on the ferry to the Mull of Kintyre, Crinan, Tarbert, Carradale and Campbeltown. Visit the Benmore Botanic Gardens, Inveraray Jail or one of the many historic sites and ruined castles. Dunoon is within easy reach and Tighnabruaich has cafes, shops and a post office. Shop, pub and restaurant 200 yards.

    "Our family party consisted of 6 adults, we were comfortable, warm, cosy and totally relaxed. The open lower floor aspect of S23209 meant we were able to see one another most of the time. The large dining table was great for board games, cards and lovely meals together. The log burner was so cosy after busy days exploring local beauty spots. Some of us swam in the Loch and although bitterly cold it was amazing. Deer were regularly spotted in the garden."

Never met owner but spoke with on phone & was only a phone call away if required.If wanting solely a family R & R holiday then this is the place to go ..... idyllic.For the more adventurous of you there's plenty to see & do in the surrounding area.Handy for 3 local hotels / bars, all within walking distance."

    "Loved this cottage and its location. Light, but cosy and a beautiful garden with well thought out seating areas and occasional visits from local deer! Some good restaurants locally and nice day trips to Otter Ferry, Tarbert and plenty of other locations. We had fantastic weather and were lucky enough to see otters and porpoises on the loch. A lovely, relaxing holiday."

    "Lovely relaxing week spent in a beautiful part of Scotland. House is superb with everything supplied to allow you to enjoy the area to its full. Welcome basket provided is a nice touch. Open plan living in downstairs area is modern and comfortable allowing lots of light into property. Upstairs seating area makes the most of the gorgeous views. Bedrooms are very spacious and ensuite is large including both bath and shower. Outside space has a variety of seating areas to relax in and savour the surrounding area. Tighnabruaich has a variety of places to eat and a few convenience stores. The locals are very friendly and happy to suggest places to visit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend both S23209 and the area."
