Making Waves sleeping up to 5 guests

A traditional fisherman’s cottage with modern conveniences directly on the shore with fantastic sea views towards May Island.
Aptly named ‘S37553’, this stunning property sits right on the sea shore in the pretty fishing port of Cellardyke on the east Fife coast. Enjoying a unique position and furnished and equipped to an excellent standard with Sky Sports, Wi-Fi and three good sized bedrooms, the property couldn’t be better placed for exploring the Fife coastline. The property has beautiful views towards May Island, Bass Rock and North Berwick Law from the kitchen, dining room and master bedroom. Outside the south facing garden looks right over the shore, the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and watch the fishing boats sailing by. A short stroll brings you to the neighbouring town of Anstruther, which has a good selection of shops, pubs and The Cellar Restaurant, holder of 3AA rosettes and UK seafood restaurant of the year. For the more energetic, the Fife Coastal Path runs for 150km nearby, and for cyclists, the Millennium Cycle Way has 300 miles of quiet country roads, disused railways and forest tracks to explore. Look out for boat trips to the Isle of May, a National Nature Reserve where you can spot puffins and seals. Boats leave from the port at Anstruther between April and September.

"Great coastal location, superb views, enjoyed the balcony and garden seating. Front bedroom super ,back bedroom lacked a little air circulation as window onto street but just being very critical.Overall a little gem. Thankyou."
    Alice – 26 May 2018
"Good views across Forth. Great access to local amenities, Fife Coastal Path and places of interest beyond Cellardyke. The kitchen equipment could do with some replacements e.g. very scratched pots, a drainer for dishes washed in the sink and food chopping boards. Despite this we would book again if in the area."
    Gemma – 13 May 2018
"amazing week over bank holiday the views are just amazing and the cottage is equipped with every you need - everything within walking distance you could need - very friendly owners and we will be back - also highlight seeing five dolphins in the bay"
    Cathy – 7 Apr 2018

    Kathryn – 6 Apr 2018
"Have been visiting fife for 7 years always stay in same house in st monans but this time it was booked so we had to change our plans. Worked out well we found this beautiful House, in a great location it felt like we were in the sea, it was great sitting on both the balcony and the patio watching the boats go by and we were lucky enough to see 2 dolphins one morning it was delightful. The house is in walking distance of the town were there are great restraunts our 2 favourites were the Bank and Anstruther fish bar. We've often walked the coastal path towards Elie, Pitenweem and Anstruther, this time we managed the Anstruther to Crail trail, came across the caves of Caiplie a must see i recommend taking a picinic it is a lovely place to pass a few hours. We had such a great time in this house were going back at the end of April."
