Nestling within this secluded woodland setting, these detached holiday lodges overlook the Campsie Fells, and are a great base for exploring all that central Scotland has to offer. Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park is 20 miles away with walking, cycling, fishing, golfing, horse riding and watersports on offer, while also being only 20 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Glasgow with galleries, museums, historical attractions, superb nightlife and fantastic shopping. Stirling and Edinburgh are easily accessible by car. Shop and pub 2½ miles, restaurant 3 miles.

    "We enjoyed our stay,but it was somehow unpersonal. Had no contact to the owner , the key was at the door, nobody gave any explanation."

    "Location for our needs was excellent but interior of the property was very tried and dated it does require refurbishment. The view from the Balcony was blighted due to the fact there is a half finished Round House together with the associated noise.There is no outside lighting the torch provided was not functioning the site is under the flight path to Glasgow Airport a lot of Aircraft noise.The First Monday we were there the Electricity was cut off for the whole day due to planned works we were not notified of this!There is a lot of vegetation around the Pavillion which made the Bedrooms very dark and access to the clothes drying area impossible generally the Garden look neglected and overgrown."

    "This is a beautiful cottage in a lovely location, which is very suitable for us visiting nearby friends and family. We have visited for years and it could do with a good refresh now - it needs repainting, and a new mattress on the downstairs double bed, and a good tidy up outside. We always wash the full length lounge windows to be able to enjoy the view. We love this cottage and thoroughly recommend it for the location, flexible accommodation and peaceful setting. We love the wood burner for cosy nights in and it's great you can take your dog. A fall of snow this year made things perfect for the (grown up) kids."
