. It didnât seem like a holiday house - it seemed like home. Warm, comfortable, everything provided - even lovely throws to snuggle into after a day on the hill. We were visiting the area to visit friends - having lived in FW for 20 years before having to move south again, and it was just THE most perfect place. On arrival I found a bottle of wine on the table! That was a surprise - and after a very long journey (from an island off the south coast of England) very welcome indeed! It was only reading the visitors book I saw people had loved the wine âand chocolatesâ we had no chocolates! Didnât bother me - I had wine -my husband doesnât drink -but he eats chocolate!! He was soo miffed
