This property is ideal for a family or group of friends who will want to enjoy the wonderful coastline of the Moray Firth and explore the lovely little fishing villages that are scattered along the coastline. The rooms at the front all benefit from far reaching open views across the popular Buckpool golf course, plus other golf courses within a short drive of Buckie are Spey Bay, Strathlene and Cullen. To the rear the pretty and private garden area is a real suntrap in the warmer weather and ideal for some alfresco dining! In the evening visitors will enjoy relaxing on the comfortable sofas and will either be able to enjoy the TV or perhaps prefer gazing out of the large picture window at the view. From this location visitors will enjoy a pleasant short walk into the town where they can shop, dine and enjoy a pre- dinner drink before returning home to prepare a dinner. A nice day out would be to follow the Malt Whisky Trails which stops at varous distilleries along the way and not only is the whisky tasting enjoyable but the Speyside scenery if quite stunning too. If you choose to stay by the coast then call in at Cullen and buy one of their famous ice creams before you head down the to lovely golden beach. This area is also ideal for walkers and there are great coastal pathways to be followed. After an active day returning to the utter comfort of your holiday home will be just prefect!
The Burgh town of Buckie lies on either side of the Burn of Buckie, on the North East coast of Scotland. It has an array of shops and pubs and is a great coastal base from which to explore Scotland. Regular boat trips leave from the harbours of Buckie and further along the coast to Macduff, which offer the chance to see bottlenose dolphins and an array of sea birds. From Buckie, stretching in both directions, the coastline is peppered with pretty fishing villages and wonderful beaches.
