We were advised by reception after we had arrived that they had broken down and needed a part and would not be available until further notice. It was disappointing that no phone call or advance notification given as this would have definitely contributed as to whether we would continue with the stay at that location however I had specifically enquired about the availability at date of stay before booking. We were there celebrating a friends 60th birthday. This is something that can't be done again there are no reruns and the unavailability if these facilities did Marr the occasion plus we would gave paid as part of the overall cost to be able to use these I have already raised our disappointment and have been assigned a case number but not heard anything since again another disappointment.

The lodge we had was very clean and had everything we needed. The cafe on site is a great place for a coffee with very friendly reception staff and wasnt busy at all. Lots of places to visit around the area, Robert Burns museum , Culzean Castle well worth a look. Isle of Arran is lovely but watch the weather, we got stuck there for 3 days !! Would def recommend and the price for the lodge for 7 days was a bargain.
