About this property

East Keeper's Cottage is a holiday house in the most breathtaking location on the coastline of Anglesey with the most amazing sea views! Nestled on the north eastern point of Anglesey, as the name suggests, it’s a quirky former lighthouse keeper's cottage. Just step outside and experience the clean, sea air.

The sitting room has wooden floors under comfortable sofas. There’s also a TV as well as DVD and CD players.

In the dining room you’ll experience the most incredible views through the large pine window! Soak up the sea vistas over breakfast or the sunsets over supper from here. A wood burning stove connects this room with the sitting room.

The kitchen has all you need including an electric cooker and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, small freezer and washing machine.

There are three bedrooms: one with a king size bed, one double bedroom and a further room with twin beds. Two bedrooms have wash basins.

Ideally, there are two shower rooms, each with shower, loo, wash hand basin and heated towel radiator.

Outside is a simple patio area with a barbecue.

The nature and wildlife around the holiday cottage are incredible Spend time spotting porpoises, dolphins, birds, and gorgeous wild flowers in the spring. A quick stroll along the coastal footpath brings you to a lovely sandy cove called Llaneilian, which is ideal for bathing, rock pooling, or just having a relaxing afternoon.

West Keeper’s Cottage is next door and if booked together, they can accommodate a party of 12 people.

A scattered, rural village situated close to the cliffs of Point Lynas and the little bay of Porth Eilian, on the beautiful north coast of Anglesey. Llaneilian stands amidst lovely countryside, which is perfect for scenic walks and cycle rides, but is perhaps best known for its lighthouse built in 1835, and its small, attractive shingle and sand beach, which is sheltered by cliffs and headland making it perfect for swimming, boating, fishing and other water sports. Just 2 miles west is the old port of Amlwch, the most northerly town in Wales, and Parys Mountain, where visitors can enjoy the Copper Mine Trail Walk amidst the old ruins of what was once the world's largest copper mine in the 18th century. Amlwch's harbour dates back to the Middle Ages and once was a thriving port. There is excellent fishing and golf nearby as well as beautiful sandy beaches and spectacular cliff top walks. Enjoy the medieval town of Beaumaris, with its 13th century moated castle, museums, excellent shops, pubs and restaurants, take a day trip into Snowdonia or visit Dublin from the nearby port of Holyhead.

Scenically stunning and wonderful views of a variety of birds as well as dolphins and porpoises. Lovely property- tastefully furnished and well equipped. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful nearby beaches. Just one thing:- some coat hooks in the lobby area would have been useful if we had needed to hang wet coats.

The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our family holiday. The beds are extremely soft, but with all the fresh air we were getting, we slept well. There was a situation with the oven on our 2nd night, Robin, our lovely host rectified the problem with a new one the next day and treated us to a take away as we couldn’t cook our chicken. We were treated with the sight of several porpoises on our last evening which was a joy. We would love to return again next year!
