Sleeper Lodge has been newly renovated to a high standard, offering a superb place to stay in the small village of Gwalchmai, right in the heart of Anglesey and well placed for exploring this fantastic island. Additionally, the spacious terraced garden has several seating areas and patios to make the most of the sun and catch glimpses of the mountains of Snowdonia. The popular beach at Rhosneigr is 6 miles, Benlech 13 miles, Holyhead 10 miles and Bangor 15 miles.
Sleeper Lodge is mostly on one level with just the double bedroom on the first floor. The living room has a lovely open fire (with logs provided), comfortable seating and a large smart TV. The kitchen/dining room is very well equipped, great for cooking enthusiasts, with a 6 ring gas hob, large fridge freezer, plenty of work surfaces and cookbooks for inspiration. A utility room has further storage and houses the washing machine and dryer. There are two ground floor bedrooms - a spacious king size and a pretty single. With open access from the living room, the first floor double bedroom is up in the eaves with some restricted head room. Nevertheless, this is a lovely space with skylights, a low sofa, TV and dressing area. The smart ground floor bathroom has a shower over the bath. Outside is a large private parking area, big enough for several cars and boats. The garden is a real feature of the property and includes a little stream and covered pond; on sunny days it will be hard to tear yourselves away!
