Ty Bychan bungalow, at Porth Diana in Trearddur Bay on Anglesey, is a fantastic holiday house to relax in. It is full of natural light and has lovely views from the front across the bay.
The spacious and bright kitchen/dining room has large French doors which open out onto the garden and an impressive vaulted ceiling. It is certainly the heart of this home! The kitchen is well equipped and with an extendable dining area, it’s a lovely space to relax, dine and share the day’s adventures.
The fantastic large picture windows in the sitting room gives you a stunning view. With comfortable seating and an open fire, this the perfect place to relax after a day in the fresh sea air.
There are two comfortable twin rooms, one with its own hand basin. There is one bunk room and a double room with independent access to the rear garden.
The family bathroom has a bath with shower over, hand basin and loo and there is a separate cloakroom.
The exterior beach, shower and utility room is an invaluable space to hang soggy wetsuits and wash off those salty faces and sandy toes. There is also a washing machine and dryer.
The enclosed garden has a paved terrace area, loungers and lawn furniture for Al Fresco dining. There is parking for two cars.
With everything just an easy walk away, it is easy to see why Ty Bychan is so popular. Trearddur Bay is one of the countries favourite holiday destinations all year round, with its Blue Flag beach, sailing, golf, coastal walks and more on offer. Not to mention all the fantastic places to eat and drink. You really are spoilt for choice in this lovely corner of North Wales!
Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!
