S84468 is located just off the main square, and almost directly opposite the historic Laugharne Castle, which offers commanding views along the Taf Estuary and out towards the Gower Peninsula. Just a 5-minute walk will take you to the famous poet’s house and writing shed of Dylan Thomas, or why not enjoy some local ale and lunch at Dylan’s pub that he frequently visited? Travelling west, the seaside hamlet of Pendine, which boasts 7 miles of sandy beach, is where the land speed record was broken in the famous car ’Babs’ which can be seen today at the Museum of Speed. Further along this picture postcard coastline you will find Amroth, Saundersfoot and the walled town of Tenby. S84468 is the perfect location to visit the many attractions this area has to offer, with Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm Zoo, Heatherton World of Adventures and the Botanical Gardens of Wales, all within a 40-minute drive.
