Via two galleried stairways are the first floor bedrooms, a double with a convenient en-suite basin and WC and a family room with three single beds and an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath. Outside is a private enclosed patio, along with a shared lawned garden. An excellent base for whatever you wish to see and do in the area. Laugharne, with its majestic castle standing on a low ridge overlooking the wide Taf River Estuary, is famous for its associations with the poet Dylan Thomas, and a visit to his Boat House and the writing shed where he wrote most of his works is a wonderful experience.

It is spacious inside and out, beds are very comfortable and has every thing you need for a short stay. There is a lot to do in the area. The property in in the middle of the countryside and next to a farm so there are lots of bugs and insects and countryside smells. The downstairs bathroom would benefit from an upgrade but it is perfectly useable. We all had a great time and we would stay again.

Loved the downstairs wet room and the upstairs roll-top free standing deep bath as well as both of the upstairs bedrooms having their own attached washroom/toilet. Very ample parking and just a few minutes drive from a local supermarket plus a good number of pubs and restaurants. Very pleasant, friendly and helpful, easy to contact owner was also added reassurance. Stay here; you will love it too!
