This attractive stone cottage near Conwy has been converted from a former farm building in the extensive grounds of a country house.

Tresi Porffor is an attractive stone cottage, clad by a beautiful old Wisteria grown up around the front, set around a cobbled courtyard within the gounds of this former Victorian country residence, and with lovely views over farm grazing fields, towards Llandudno on the North Wales coast. Situated close to the border of the Snowdonia National Park by the small hamlet of  Ty'n-y-Groes, Conwy 3 miles and Betws-y-Coed 12 miles.

The beamed ground floor of this cottage has a traditional feel with quarry tiled floors throughout. The lovely open fire in the lounge (logs included) creates a warm, cosy atmosphere. There are two comfortable sofas, TV/DVD/Freeview/CD/radio and WiFi available @ £10 per week or £2.50 per day (minimum 3 days). The kitchen/dining room includes a washing machine and an antique round table and chairs. On the first floor are two bedrooms; both have double beds and one also has a single bed. They are simply furnished with pine bedroom furniture and look out over the pretty cobbled courtyard where, during the early summer, the wisteria is in full bloom. The tiled bathroom has a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail. Heating is by night storage and portable heaters and the open fire. There is a lawned garden to the rear with a picnic bench and barbecue and shared use of a small games room.

There is a wealth of outdoor activities on your doorstep from gentle walks to more serious mountain ascents, family friendly cycle paths to forest mountain bike trails, gentle beach activities to watersports and on top of that the ever popular adrenaline activities of ZipWorld aerial high wires, Bounce Below underground trampolines and, new for 2015, Surf Snowdonia surf and splash centre at Dolgarrog (3 miles). Within a short drive there is golf, fishing, a rspb nature reserve, the market town of Llanrwst with shops, cafes and pubs, the Bodnant Welsh Food Centre, the National Trust's Bodnant Gardens and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno.
