On entering the cottage, you arrive in a spacious sitting room with a dining table and chairs. Next to this is the well-equipped kitchen, with everything needed to prepare some lovely home-cooked meals. With the dining area very close by, makes a great social place to prepare and enjoy at the same time. On the ground floor is a single bedroom which is light and airy with a good-sized family bathroom next door. The staircase takes you to a mezzanine landing with the extra flexibility of a double sofa bed, which then leads to the master double bedroom. This is large and spacious with some fantastic original wooden beams and again with fantastic views of the rolling countryside. From the mezzanine area, further steps take you down to a second sitting room with plenty of comfy seating in front of a welcoming woodburner, making a great place to relax in front of after a full day out and about exploring the area. From the sitting room, French doors lead to a large patio area with plenty of lawned gardens; a great place for the kids to let off some steam. Take advantage of some alfresco dining or just a relax with a glass of something chilled. The owners were so welcoming and the welcome hamper was very much appreciated. Lovely location to explore North Wales. We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon

Despite the most stormy windiest rainy week we had a very restful relaxing week. The cottage is situated at the end of the village, looking out onto surrounding fields, it is very peaceful and tranquil, with local walks. The cottage is detached traditional with lots of space for parking, there was only two of us so plenty of room. The owners John and Mererid go beyond to ensure you have everything to enjoy your stay, from welcome hamper, wine, eggs milk and butter in fridge, home made scones and plenty of tea and coffee on arrival. There are plenty of towels, separate fridge and freezer if you are self catering and cooking utensils. We hope to be back in the future.
