Chateau Terrace is a four-storey, Grade II listed Georgian town house in the centre of historic Chepstow, at the mouth of the River Wye on the Welsh-Goucestershire border. The house is full of character, furnished with some antiques, with an enclosed courtyard garden and decking balcony overlooking the Castle.

The cosy sitting room has an open fire, sofas, FreeSat TV with DVD player, and a good selection of books; WiFi also available. The kitchen diner has a woodburning stove, circular dining table and five chairs, and French doors leading out onto decking with patio furniture overlooking the Castle and Dell. From the ground floor, a stone staircase leads down to the cellar, with small freezer, washing machine, storage and door to the enclosed courtyard garden (steps down from the decking also). There is a gate from the garden leading out into the Dell, an attractive public area and footpath leading around the castle. On the first floor of the property is a double bedroom with Freeview TV/DVD player, a single bedroom also with TV, and a family bathroom with hand shower attachment on the bath. On the second floor is another double bedroom, with lovely castle views, and an adjacent shower room. Due to the age and style of the building, all staircases are steep. This town centre property has no designated parking, but it is possible to unload at the door; limited on street parking and a pay and display car park close by. There are several pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance, and the mainline railway station is just half a mile away.

This is a lovely historic town lying at the southern end of the Wye Valley and Offa's Dyke Path. There are activities, events and concerts in the Castle throughout the summer. Lovely countryside, riverside and forest walks in the surrounding area. Forest of Dean, Tintern Abbey, and historic Monmouth within a short drive.

Electricity and heating included; some logs provided
