"Possibly the best little holiday home we’ve ever stayed in . Cosy and nurturing with the added bonus of a bubbling hot tub and fantastic local pub . The fantastic Mrs Woods made all the creases from my crumpled preparation simply disappear and we smiled and laughed all weekend long ... thank you"
    Stacey – 7 Oct 2018
"Myself and 5 friends had a lovely stay at the S70801.The hot tub was lovely to sit in with beautiful views. The property was lovely and clean and we were left welshcakes, bread, milk and butter. Downsides I would say are:As it's out of the way you can't order food so do a big shop, the master bedroom has no window blinds so it's really bright and the bed isn't too comfy, the hot tub doesn't get too warm and I don't feel there is enough sofa space for 6.This didn't ruin our stay though and the owners were lovely."
    Megan – 29 Sep 2018
"Beautiful cottage in a stunning area. Bedrooms are spacious and each has an en suite. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the room was simply but stylishly furnished. Hot tub was fantastic and a good size. The view from there was spectacular. We even had a visit from a doe and fawn one morning while we were eating breakfast. Only negative point would be to have a few more baking trays and some serving dishes to help with cooking in."
    Nina – 11 Aug 2018
"We had a wonderful time at the cottage. Spacious but cosy and nice decor. Enjoyed the garden hot tub and wonderful views. Wonderful location if you want to get away from it all, surrounded by beautiful countryside as well as the castle and river. Nice local pub 5 mins walk away. Would definitely return."
    Dan – 8 Aug 2018
"Lovely barn conversion with good facilities. Rooms were a good size and the barn was well equipped. The location was a ok, not much in the village and the shop was not open on weekdays. Pub was ok but a bit pricey. Nearest town was about 20 mins drive. The cottage was very close to the owners house, as their gardens wrapped around the cottage we felt this spoilt the privacy of it. Nice stay at a good price but we would not stay again."
    Stephen – 10 Jul 2018
"We went with two other couples and we all enjoyed our time at the cottage. The facilities were first rate and we wanted for nothing. The accommodation was much larger than it appears from the photographs which was a pleasant surprise. We would not hesitate to recommend the S70801 to anyone,"
    Barrie – 13 Jun 2018
"Quiet location - just right for a relaxing break. Quality cottage with everything you need."
    John – 29 May 2018
"One or two minor niggles:1. Ground floor bedroom had no drawers or space to store suitcases, had to remove duvet from under bed storage to store clothes.2. Insufficient seating for six people outsideInsufficient crockery for six people, had to wash dishes during the meal3. No saucepan lids, apparently they had all been stolen!!On the plus side:1. The hot tub was excellent, clean and well maintained2. The location was outstanding, with great views and tranquillity.3. The owner was friendly and helpful."

"We recently stayed at The S70801 and we weren't disappointed. The House is set in a beautiful location and is finished and furnished beautifully. The house itself is quirky and rustic but with a comfortable homely touch. Attention to detail in the house is to a high standard. We arrived at the house to a loaf of farmhouse fresh bread, Welsh cakes and fresh flowers that had been left for our arrival. The cleanliness of the house was 10/10 with beautifully laid beds. The house is set in a peaceful rural location set in stunning surroundings which can be enjoyed whilst also enjoying the hot tub. The bedrooms of the house were all spacious and housed an ensuite in each room.If you're looking for a relaxing weekend or one full of scenery this rustic little house would be perfect."
    Fiona – 9 May 2018
"We had a fabulous time. We would definitely go there again. Already been talking about it. Very clean and owners were lovely."
    Sally – 25 Apr 2018

    Roy – 8 Apr 2018
"A really well presented cottage that has been well put together with the owners. Very comfortable in a beautiful setting. Diolch yn fawr."
    VICTORIA – 23 Mar 2018
"Fantastic weekend, beautiful, quiet, rural location. Hot tub a real treat, everything you need for a peaceful luxury escape from the hustle and bustle of life."
    G – 19 Mar 2018
"Lovely stay...cleaning not quite as good as I would have liked (shower was dirty) but everything else was spotless.Something to consider if travelling with a baby/toddler: floors & units etc are made of lovely, rustic wood but they have not been sanded back...so although it looks great & is fine for adults, crawling babies/toddlers can easily pick up splinters. Hot tub was amazing - clean, hot, bubbly & wonderful views!Bread, milk, butter & welsh cakes were left for us on arrival which was a very welcome touch.Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
    Jane – 10 Mar 2018
"Compact, clean and modern but a picture or two wouldn't go amiss. the finish is deliberately rustic and might not be to everyones taste but it was fine for us.The duvets are a bit on the thin side and the double bed on the first floor was hard.Local pub in walking distance with very good food. However, nice and warm, good TV and hot tub available. Good to have an en suite for each room. We would return."
