    Mr White
"The owners were lovely when we had a slight problem, wifi in cottage maybe useful in future especially for family with kids, overall 5* 10/10"
    Ms Score
"We used the cottage for a useful base whilst working nearby. This would be a very good place to stay for a holiday as it is very close to the middle of Tintern and all that it offers. Very handy for the eating and drinking establishments and for walking. Would certainly consider coming back to this cottage for a holiday. Nice clean and comfortable place with a very good kitchen. One of our group missed having internet access."
    Mr East
"The bungalow is set in a quiet location just off the main Monmouth/Chepstow road at Tintern with a woodland backdrop where the air you breath is clean and fresh. There are numerous local woodland walks ideal if you like trekking, bear in mind that the local terrain can be steep in places. Tintern Abbey is about a 10 minute walk down the road next to the River Wye which runs through the village. Tintern has with a couple of nice pubs The Anchor and The Rose and Crown (Steak pub) serving a good standard of food. Close by are shops selling reasonably priced souveneirs and one where milk and bread can be purchased. If the weather is sunny and warm the River Wye glistens, the local scenery is beautiful at any time. Nearby are Chepstow Castle and Raglan Castle both well worth a visit as is the fascinating Littledean Jail an 18th century prison at Liitledean (Crime artifacts and pop memorabilia) If you want a quiet relaxing hoilday this is the ideal place and location."
    Miss Moore
"Pleasant cottage in a very nice location. Kitchen outstanding. ."
    Mr Roberts
"Lots of walks right from the doorstep, lots of different types of birds coming to eat the nuts outside the French doors, including jays ( never seen a jay before) , local pubs and staff are nice , local food was very nice."
    Ms German
"Beautiful cottage situated in the village of Tintern. Fantastic for walking - straight from the back door. Loved every minute. Cottage lovely and cool (very hot weather) - very happy with everything and thank you."
    Mrs Angela Maryon, Prescot, Merseyside
"S24995 is extremely clean and situated in an extremely peaceful location within easy reach of many attractions."
"Good sized bungalow and plenty of room for 6 friends and a dog! Separate toilet would have been good but not a huge issue, Plenty of hot water for showers and very well equipped kitchen. Short walk to decent pub and Tintern Abbey as well as tourist shops and tea rooms. Some good walks in area but I would recommend trainers / walking shoes. The Fountain (up in the hills) is also highly recommended and just a short drive. away. No shops in village for food items and no cash machines, Nice community run farm shop in Brockweir or take essentials with you!"
    Mr Stephen Buckley, Plymouth, Devon
"Had very friendly helpful owners and was in a beautiful location. We felt very comfortable in this property."
    Mrs Tina Baran, Oswestry, Shropshire
"Tintern was a lovely area with walks, scenery and pubs. The cottage was light, spacious and well equipped with good instruction manuals, there were deer in surrounding woods. A lovely sunny location a 5 minute walk from main village with Abbey, tourist shops, hotel and pubs. The owners left us a lovely welcome pack and a letter. They were easy to contact and very helpful with info on keys and things to see in the area. We enjoyed watching the birds on the bird feeders and looking out for the deer around the garden."
