Graig Noddfa is a cosy little terraced cottage, ideally located in the Swansea Valley between the southern Brecon Beacons (Abercraf, 7 miles) and the coast at Aberavon, 16 miles. The cottage is situated in the village of Godre'rgraig, with excellent local facilities in Ystalyfera, 2 miles away. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden, decking and patio area with views of the forested hills across the valley. The house sleeps up to five guests in two bedrooms, with gas central heating throughout, as well as a wood burning stove.
Ground Floor:
Living Room: two leather sofas (with throws provided if you are bringing dogs), two bean bags, wood burner, flat screen TV with Netflix and Amazon Firestick provided, DVD player, WiFi. The staircase rises from the living room and a stairgate is provided, to keep dogs downstairs and prevent adventurous toddlers from climbing.
Kitchen: gas cooker with extractor hood over, microwave, fridge and an excellent range of cookware and utensils. A washer/dryer and tabletop freezer are located in a large cupboard in the adjacent bathroom.
Bathroom: bath with electric shower over, WC, basin, heated towel rail.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: Super king size bed (can be made up as a twin on request).
Bedroom 2: Bunks comprising a full sized single over a full sized double bed.
Outside: a rear door opens from the kitchen onto a raised, enclosed patio area, with a gated flight of steps down to the mid-level decking and a further few steps down to the enclosed, lawned garden at lower level.
Parking: on street parking to the front, usually possible directly outside or very close by.
There is lots to see and do in this popular area of South Wales, with excellent walking in the Brecon Beacons National Park, including Henrhyd Waterfall, 9 miles away. Swansea is 11 miles to the south. Visitor attractions include National Showcaves Centre for Wales, 10 miles, Afan Forest Visitor Centre and Mountain Biking Trails, 15 miles, Carreg Cennen Castle, 16 miles, Penderyn Whisky Distillery Visitor Centre, 20 miles. The long sandy beach at Aberavon is just 16 miles away and a little further takes you to the many beaches and attractions of the Gower Peninsula.
