Spacious and very pleasant, this character farmhouse is 7 miles south of Welshpool and enjoys lovely panoramic views over the Severn Valley.

Spacious and very comfortable, this lovely character farmhouse near Welshpool (7 miles to the north) enjoys stunning panoramic views over the Severn Valley and is an excellent area for walking, with walks from the door, and the Severn Way and Offa's Dyke footpath both nearby.

Adjoining the owners' home on their working farm, Llandinier Farmhouse has a large lounge with a woodburner in the inglenook fireplace (logs supplied), a dining room with electric fire, and a fitted kitchen. On the first floor is a spacious bathroom with bath, shower cubicle, WC and basin, and four bedrooms: a double with an en suite WC & basin, a four-poster with en suite shower room, and two twin bedrooms (an optional folding bed for a child is also available). The central heating is by Biomass boiler and the farmhouse is equipped with TV, DVD, CD player, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Free WiFi is available but please note it is not superfast; it is suitable for emails and general browsing but not for streaming music or films.

Llandinier Farmhouse has a large attractive private enclosed garden with a barbecue, garden furniture and lovely views. Guests also have access to a shared games room with table tennis & pool table and an outdoor play area, making this an ideal choice for families with children. The farmhouse is just 1 mile from local fishing, a golf course and the popular Montgomery Canal path, part of the Severn Way, for walking and cycling. Welshpool has a leisure centre with swimming pool, Powis Castle and Gardens, and the Welshpool-Llanfair Caereinion Light Railway. The pretty black and white village of Berriew is just 3 miles away and boasts its own family butcher's, a tea room and two pubs serving food. The historic town of Montgomery, 4 miles away, has castle ruins with spectactular views and a Michelin-star restaurant.

Electricity by meter reading; central heating/hot water from Biomass boiler included; No young groups, sorry.

Bed linen provided; towels available @ £3/person per week.

Cot & highchair available.

No smoking inside please.
