Enjoying a lovely countryside location close to Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells, Hay on Wye, Radnor  and Brecon, this very homely detached holiday cottage (formerly the village Police House) makes a fabulous base.

Hereford is just 40 miles away and makes a great day trip as do the Elan Valley Dams, Offa's Dyke or the Brecon Beacons.

When you return from a great day out you can relax in the hot tub on the decking or enjoy a barbecue in the garden.

The owner has provided some mountain bikes for guests use (own risk).

Within a 5 minute walk of the cottage there is a pub which serves bar meals.

Ground Floor

Entrance is into a spacious hallway with comfy seat, table with lamp and local information.

The sitting room has a wood-burning stove, comfortable seating leather sofas and a chair, nest of tables, 32" flat screen TV with Sky and DVD player.

The dining room has a wood-burning stove, dining table with 8 chairs, sideboard, corner cupboard, dresser, TV with Sky, PlayStation and CD player.

The kitchen has a range of kitchen units with an electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave oven.

The adjacent utility room area (we think this was the cell) has a freezer, washer/dryer and storage space.

There is a downstairs cloakroom with WC and hand basin.

A door leads to the decking with HOT TUB.

First Floor

There are three bedrooms.

bedroom 1 has a 5' king size zip'n'link bed which can be split into two 2'6" singles if requested at time of booking, a further 3' single bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers and TV with Sky (linked to Dining room TV).

bedroom 2 has a double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers, dressing table and TV with Sky linked to the Sitting room TV.

bedroom 3 has a set of 3' bunk beds, bedside chest of drawers and a TV for videos only (some children's videos are provided).

The family bathroom has a suite of enamel bath, electric shower over, WC and hand basin.

All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your holiday and towels are included.

Garden & Parking

There is a lovely lawned garden which surrounds the cottage.

There is a drive and ample off road parking for up to 3 cars.

The garden is bordered by mature shrubs and trees making it quite private.

The decked area has a superb 6 person HOT TUB where you can relax and unwind winter or summer, day or night.

There is also a new decking area with a table and six chairs for alfresco dining and a summer house to sit and enjoy the new Welsh fossil fountain.

A picnic table is provided.

Other Information

There is oil central heating at the cottage.

All oil, electricity and fuel for the multi-fuel stoves is included in the rental.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available.

Bed linen and towels are included.

No smoking and no pets.
