Sitting on the South East side of side of Conwy mountain just inside the world famous Snowdonia National Park and set in approximately 3 acres of grounds and gardens. Plas Newydd is just over 2 miles from the world heritage site of Conwy castle and its walled town, full of history, independent shops, local brewery owned pubs, traditional butchers, artisan bakers and ice cream makers. A little further on brings you to the Victorian resort town of Llandudno, a hub of activity on the North Coast with its wide traditional promenade and pier, a fine theatre, dry ski slope, cable cars and tramway not to mention the soft-play centre, restaurants, cafes, museums, galleries and shopping opportunities.
Looking inland the rest of Snowdonia opens up before you with the popular village of Betws Y Coed being just 16 miles away though the route takes you past Surf Snowdonia (a world-first inland surf lagoon) and Zip Fforest where you can brave the zip line obstacle course, try out a giant swing, bounce around in a net enclosure suspended 60ft above the ground or experience the exhilarating Alpine Toboggan (with speeds of up to 25mph). Plas Newydd is a spacious, detached house with large impressive gardens including a small shallow stream in one section. The house will comfortably accommodate up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms. All bedrooms are on the first floor; two family rooms both with king size bed and single bed and both have en-suite bathrooms (bath with shower over). The other two bedrooms have king size beds and easy access to the shower room (shower only no bath). The rest of the accommodation is on the ground floor with kitchen- breakfast room, utility, dining room, games room (table tennis table), ground floor cloak room (W.C.) and comfortable lounge leading through to the conservatory with doors out to the patio. Relax and bring the whole family with plenty of space to spread out.
Facilities include, central heating, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge, freezer, microwave, Freeview TV , bike storage and garden furniture and parking for up to 5 cars. Heating and electricity are included in the tariff, bed linen and towels are supplied. This is a no smoking property. (The third floor is awaiting renovation and is currently not available). Unfortunately this property is not able to accept pets.
