Moelwyn View sleeping up to 5 guests

Located in the historic mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog from which you can enjoy splendid views of the Moelwyn mountains and a whole host of culture, activities and entertainment.
Located in the heart of the former slate quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, this delightful mid terraced holiday cottage has splendid views of the Moelwyn mountains that surround the town and makes a great base for exploring the area. Within walking distance of a pub serving delicious bar meals, it’s also close to the famous Ffestiniog Railway, imagine travelling on a narrow gauge steam train as the line twists and turns on its journey down to the sea at Porthmadog, whilst enjoying refreshments served at your seat. Blaenau Ffestiniog is fast becoming a mecca for adventure activities, ranging from the worlds largest zip wire zone at Zipworld Titan, and the exciting Bounce Below where you can bounce on trampoline nets in an underground slate cavern the size of St Paul’s Cathedral, to the Stiniog Downhill Mountain Bike trails (there’s even bike storage and washing facilities at the holiday cottage!). There are walks a plenty in the Snowdonia National Park which surrounds Blaenau, with the Cambrian coast and Harlech Castle to explore in one direction and the pretty village of Betws-y-Coed in the other.

    Susan – 27 Oct 2018
"One of the best equipped cottages we have stayed in. Very quiet and lots to see and do."
    Karen – 22 Sep 2018
"We had a lovely stay, the weather almost behaved itself! It’s perfectly placed for exploring the area, and a spacious, comfortable cottage. The local amenities are a good walk away. Parking is ok, a little tight at times when everyone is home. The garden is pretty much dog proof, although the wall on one side is fairly low. Anyone arriving in the dark needs a torch/phone to be able to access the keys - be prepared. I would recommend to anyone interested in staying in that area of Wales. (Welcome pack was lovely and helped with our late arrival!)."
    Jeanette – 10 Sep 2018

    Gerhard – 5 Aug 2018
"Well located for outdoor enthusiasts with footpaths just a minute away. Comfortable and spacious house with all you might need. A garage with storage for bikes etc real handy to have."
    julie – 21 May 2018
"5 of us came from 4 locations to meet up for a few days and the cottage was comfortable enough for us and 2 dogs. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and the garden is a sun trap in the evening. This is the heart of Welsh history and industry and beautiful in it's own right. Snowdon a must and we visited Zip World which was an experience in itself. Free to watch but pay to ride. The goodies on arrival were appreciated thanks Jonathan and another trip is already being talked about."
    Sonya – 14 Apr 2018

    Richard – 17 Mar 2018
"Lovely cosy cottage, very clean, well equipped. Would highly recommend"
