The ground floor of the house is large and spacious with lots of places to sit back and relax. The large sitting room has big comfy sofas centred around an original inglenook fireplace with wood-burner. Next door to the lounge is a separate snug/games room, which children are guaranteed to fall in love with. Here you can spend time watching TV and playing games, which include table football and a PlayStation.
Cornborough's kitchen/dining room is wonderful, with a huge pine table to seat up to 12. The kitchen area is very well equipped with all the latest appliances, including an electric range cooker, a microwave, two fridges, a freezer and a dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as other cleaning products.
The four bedrooms on the first floor of the house are spread across a long landing and are all south facing to catch the sun. The bedrooms are a pretty double with en-suite shower room, a twin, a second double with en-suite bathroom and the children's favourite bunk room. There is also a large family bathroom. A half landing/children's playroom mid way up the main staircase provides a great place for keeping children amused with a good selection of toys, arts and crafts.
The attached annexe at Cornborough is ideal for grand parents or guests with mobility issue. The annexe has its own private entrance giving guests the ability to enjoy a little privacy away from the rest of the family but still remain within close proximity of the main house. The annexe has a large open plan studio room, which has a lounge, dining area and bedroom with two single beds. The annexe also has its own kitchen with electric oven, microwave and fridge. Guests can also take advantage of the wet room, which can be used by wheelchair users.
