Lake District

Ideal for: Watersports and walks

With rolling hills, stunning landscapes and tranquil lakes galore, it’s unsurprising that the Lake District is one of the UK’s most popular tourist destinations. There’s so much to do in this national park from meandering walking trails up rugged peaks and charming market towns to explore.

Best walk: Start out in Bowness-on-Windermere and hike out of the town, along the Dales Way, up to Brant Fell

Place to stay: Just six miles from Lake Windermere, Cartmel Lodge is a beautiful pet-friendly log cabin with it’s own private bubbling hot tub.

Scottish Highlands

Ideal for: Breathtaking scenery

Pound the historic streets of Inverness, explore the wild countryside and rugged coastline, and enjoy tasty traditional treats and tipples in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This is the perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities and adventure in the outback of northern Scotland.

Best walk: Enjoy a steady ramble from Nairn along both banks of the river, from the harbour up to the countryside above the town.

Place to stay: Ben Wyvisis a beautiful three-bedroom lodge with an outdoor hot tub which offers stunning views across the undulating countryside.

Cornwall

Ideal for: Sun, sea, sand and surf!

Cornwall is the ideal escape for family members of all ages or a group of friends looking for fun and adventure. The south west county offers some of the best seaside towns, beaches and coastline in England, and is a world-famous surfing spot with swells and breaks for beginners and pros.

Best walk: Tick off part of the South West Coast Path by strolling along the idyllic Bude Canal.

Place to stay: The Ocean Room Roundhouse is a contemporary, unique holiday rental in Bude. The two-bedroom lodge is nestled among the beautiful Cornish countryside.

Denbighshire, Wales

Ideal for: Family fun

Denbighshire sits in the north-east of Wales, nestled between Snowdonia National Park and Wrexham. There are castle ruins and historic sites aplenty along with an abundance of family-friendly attractions and activities to keep everyone happy during your holiday.

Best walk: Follow forest paths and enjoy views across the Dee Estuary at Llandegla Forest.

Place to stay: There’s space for four people and two pets in the pretty Meadow Lodge, a quaint log cabin amidst flower-filled fields and rolling hills.

Devon

Ideal for: Quintessentially British break

For a traditional British break by the sea, Devon is the place to be. Step back in time with a wander around Exeter’s historic streets, treat yourself to a cream tea in a cosy cafe, or breathe in the fresh air on a cliff top trail. Devon boasts beautiful beaches, breathtaking countryside and lots of restaurants, pubs and coffee houses to keep you energised for exploration and fun.

Best walk: Follow the meandering River Heddon through the Heddon Valley, taking in ancient woodlands and pretty meadows.

Place to stay: Hidden among the trees on the edge of Indio Lake, Great Combe Lodge is a two-bedroom cabin with a stunning deck and hot tub right on the water’s edge.

What our customers are saying about their holidays

Michelle Rose, August 2020

Skip Jack cottages at Ingworth, Norfolk.... What an amazing place to stay, we would highly recommend this place to stay. A private garden and hot tub. private use of the swimming pool, for 2 hours a day. The flat is fully furnished, you couldn't want for anything else. Easy to access all areas of North Norfolk. Norwich is about 15 miles, Cromer was a short 20 min drive. would recommend both Poppy line steam trains. And Bure valley miniature steam, where you can link to a boat trip on the Norfolk Broads..... if you visit great Yarmouth go early as everything closes at 5pm (this was 35 mile drive).

Walked dogs. Relaxed in hot tub. Played family games. Goodrington Beach lovely for dogs. Stayed at Beyond Escape Lodges just outside Paignton - just fabulous, highly recommend.

Susan Lawless, August 2020

It was nice just to unwind and relax in this superb lodge. It was comfortable and well equipped. We made good use of the hot tub even though the weather was a bit chilly. Highly recommended.

The Sidmouth Arms in Upottery was fabulous - lovely welcoming hosts staff and villagers. Food excellent on New Years Eve and dog friendly.

Keira O'Reilly, August 2020

We came to this house with hot tub for a family birthday and it was a fabulous choice. We used the hot tub every day and visited Callander for a wander round the shops. We had a birthday celebration meal at the restaurant right next door to the house and it was fabulous.
