1. The Old King Arms

Location: Cheshire

Sleeps: Six people



The Old King Arms is perfectly located for exploring the ancient Roman city of Chester. A former coaching inn, this rustic cottage in Cheshire has traditional exposed beams, quirky furnishings and  a roaring open fire you can cosy up in front of on a winter’s evening. And it’s close to an eclectic mix of shops, cafes and restaurants too. 


If you do one thing: Visit the magical festive illuminations and lanterns display at Chester Zoo

2. Church Cottage

Location: Derbyshire

Church Cottage is situated in the beautiful market town of Bakewell. This cosy, contemporary cottage has everything you need for a family Christmas break - including its very own cinema room for cosying up in with a hot chocolate and a festive film. It’s the perfect base for exploring the Peak District too.

3. Two Stiles

Location: Cornwall

Sleeps: Six people

Nestled between stunning countryside and panoramic coastline, Two Stiles really has the best of both worlds. Location: Denbighshire, Wales

This charming cottage located in the New Forest National Park is ideal for anyone wanting to explore the great outdoors. You can walk, cycle or ride around the Hampshire countryside, or take advantage of the riverfront location of The Brick House and indulge in some watersports. Easily whip up a hearty Christmas dinner in the fully equipped kitchen (it even has an Aga!). Or, if you don’t fancy cooking you can sample the delicious local eateries. 


If you do one thing: Take a tour of Beaulieu from above on the Monorail - it’s the oldest in England!

6. Askrigg Chapel
