  A wonderful old mill house, with 4 large bedrooms (2 ensuite).

  Warm and comfortable, lots of parking. The host was amazing and left lots of goodies and was very helpful and friendly. This property was perfect for us, working in the area for the week, and good value for money. Directions could be a bit better. Hard to find in the dark, and the small sign to the property not visible from the main road. Google took us past the layby turning. I chose the smaller upstairs bedroom because it had a bedside table and lamp. This would be nice in all bedrooms. Kitchen could be better supplied: no washing up liquid, no spare bin bags (although the host provided these when asked), only one dishwasher pod, no kitchen roll and let down by very poor frying pans, with burnt bottoms. These need replacing really. Wifi was good, and house was wonderfully warm. The hot water was always plentiful, I think we only needed the boost once. Thank you for a great stay

  We had a lovely stay at Mill View during the bank holiday weekend.

  The property is in pristine condition and the surrounding gardens are lovely. The bedrooms were very spacious and the super king beds were comfortable and a real luxury. The original features of the property have been persevered with a modern twist which makes the whole property very homely. The property is located on a great area with so much to do with a 15-20 minute drive. We would definitely be coming back to Mill View in the near future.

  The cottage is in the pretty village of Clayworth which has a gastropub and also a friendly village boozer. There are nice walks in the country and along the canal towpath. The house has a lovely large dog-proof garden. Although the owners live next door, they are very discreet. Fresh towels and linen weekly. The cottage is warm and secure with a huge living room. A great base for exploring North Notts.

  Stayed at the property for Christmas 2019, couldn’t have wished for a more pleasant stay.

  . family of 5 with a small dog it catered for our every need. Very good communication with the owner Carol throughout, she goes above and beyond to make staying at her property home from home and really appreciated the little extras with it being Christmas.. my children loved the attic bedroom and were sad to leave! Really hope to come back and stay again soon! Many thanks

  Stayed in this cottage while visiting family.

  The cottage was well equipped, lovely and homely. All the rooms were clean and tidy, and bedrooms - especially the attic bedroom - were perfect. The owner, Carol, was very helpful regarding attractions nearby and was very kind during our stay. Loved the welcome hamper too, and Carol even included some treats for our dogs.
