The suite can comfortably accommodate up to four people, ideal for a small family or two couples sharing. The property is set in the most superb grounds, planted with Mediterranean gardens and lush green lawns, with stone steps that lead down to a soft sandy beach, and the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea.

When you stay in the Avaton Suite you get to enjoy all the facilities the resort has to offer. The hotel has two incredible restaurants, one alfresco, and a champagne bar, with the options to dine by the seashore, in villa, or served breakfast, lunch, and dinner by your private pool. There is an exceptional concierge service, ask and it shall be sorted. The team can arrange almost anything from helicopter arrivals and private yacht charters to in-villa spa treatments and private yoga sessions on the beach. For families, there is a dedicated Kid’s Club, welcome amenities, and a whole host of activities to keep them amused all day. For the adults, there are candlelit dinners on the beach, floating breakfast served in the pool, and sleeping under the stars. Whilst everyone can make memories to last a lifetime with private charter yacht cruises and swimming pool cinema shows.

This simply stunning, one-storey, ground floor suite, is arranged over a spacious sixty square metres and boasts exquisite interiors decorated in a nautical blue and white, with a luxurious holiday home-from-home vibe. The open plan living area is light, bright, and airy, with billowing curtained picture windows, which open onto the pool terrace. The seating area has a smart two-seater sofa, two formal armchairs, a coffee table and console, and a flat-screen satellite television. The adjacent all-white kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cater for your holiday, including that must-have well-stocked mini bar, and a breakfast bar with tall stools. There are two beautifully-appointed bedrooms, dressed in the finest blue and white linen, one with a double bed, and the other with two twin beds. The double bedroom enjoys Azure Aegean Sea views. In between, there is a shared ultra-modern bathroom, with a walk-in shower, hand basin, and WC.

The decked terrace is home to your own private ladder entry swimming pool, with a built-in sunbed platform. White mesh designer sun loungers and soft seating surround the pool. Gorgeous green manicured lawns are the hot spot to cool down and catch some rays. As dusk falls feast alfresco at the four-seater outside dining set, and raise a toast to holiday memories that will last a lifetime.

Avaton Suite sits on the hillside, overlooking the beautifully manicured lawns of the luxury  resort, and out over the shimmering waters of Koumitsa Bay, on the Athos Peninsula in Halkidiki in northern Greece. If you don't want to walk to the beach a golf cart can be called to take you between the suite and reception. The nearest airport to the resort is at Thessaloniki, a scenic one hundred and twelve kilometres from your holiday destination. The residence is in the most incredible setting, with sweeping manicured green lawns that cascade gently to the sandy beach of the bay, populated by the hotel’s sun loungers and brollies. Dip your toes in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, and spend the day sunbathing and being waited on. In high season there is a masseur who can treat you in the beach cabana or in the privacy of your residence.

As a guest at the property, you can enjoy all the fabulous facilities it has to offer, including breakfast served at the villa, or in the fine dining restaurant. Athos is the most easterly and quietest of the three Halkidiki peninsulas, with picture postcard golden sandy beaches, and a backdrop of ancient olive groves and pine forests.  There are lots of incredible beaches to choose from, especially recommended nearby Ouranoupolis, with its Byzantine tower , dedicated to a Australian couple who bought it in the 1930's. Here you can take a cruise along the Holy Mount Athos , the sightseeing launches and sailing-ships make sea trips every day. Drive to Gerakini where you can stroll the prom and eat at one of the many popular Greek Tavernas on the seaside.  Kakoudia with its unusual white shaped rocks and long wide yellow sandy beach, both sitting in the shadow of Mount Athos. The monasteries of Mount Athos can only be viewed from the water, men may visit by arrangement at least six months in advance. Charter a yacht and sail along the coastline, swim and snorkel in the warm Aegean waters, and dine aboard on freshly caught fish. Island hop to the Drenia Isles, an archipelago of six islands, with shallow waters that are superb for swimming. The other two peninsulas are worth a visit, Sithonia is fabulous for families, and nature lovers, whilst Kassandra is famous for bustling resorts, and lively nightlife.

The area is steeped in ancient history, most notably Stageria, the birthplace of the Greek philosopher, Aristotle, with a park dedicated to his life and work. The village of Olynthos is an archaeological site discovered in the 1930s with well-preserved mosaic floors, and a museum displaying the findings. Take a trip to the cave of Petralona, on the western side of Mount Katsika, full of stalagmites and stalactites, where a human skull believed to be over seven hundred thousand years was discovered, along with lots of other animal fossils. The capital city of Halkidiki is Poligiros, in the centre of the peninsula, known for its nightlife and bars, and Archeological and Folklore Museums. For something a bit more active, your concierge can arrange a hike along the trails through the local lush green forests, a day’s scuba diving, a jeep safari across the terrain to local villages, small beaches, and ancient archaeological sites, cheese tasting or best of all a wine and honey tasting tour. As dusk falls enjoy dinner served by the beach, before falling asleep under the stars in a canopied curtained bed.

Everything in this hotel is just perfect, the rooms, the food, the secluded beach with amazing crystal clear water.. and above all the staff, who rounds the whole experience making it simply amazing with their attention, modesty and kindness. It’s been our second time here and we will for sure return.

The property is amazing with a fabulous restaurant set on the crystal clear beach. Breakfast & dinner are excellent. The staff are the most friendly ever met in a hotel. They pay attention to details and take care of you the best they can.

We are a family with 2 small children and stayed at the One Bedroom Suite and it was perfect for us. The beach is fantastic for kids, very clean and nice sand. The kids' club on the beach kept our kids entertained for parts of the day, and they had all the amenities we needed for the beach. Mirela was doing an awesome job running the kid's club. The restaurant is just amazing. All the meals that we tried were very tasty, rich, and served with style. Additionally, the staff in the restaurant made the dining experience even better. All of them were very nice and helpful, and they had patience with our kids, even helping us to entertain them so we could enjoy a few minutes of the meal alone. Literally everyone in the restaurant was great, few names that we remembered are Ilias, Penny, Anastasia. We would definitely consider coming back next summer.
