A stylish holiday cottage in an outstanding location, sitting right beside the beach with amazing views over Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick (2561ft).
This beautifully presented much loved holiday home is a great option for a self catering holiday with family or friends. Interiors are stylish with three bedrooms for six guests. The sitting room is comfortably furnished and the kitchen dining room has French doors leading onto a lovely furnished patio, perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine and chatting over dinner.
The property is in a peaceful location within walking distance of pubs and restaurants, perfect for popping out for provisions, a lunch time snack or dinner. Head to the beautiful village of Keel just a mile and a half away with its long sandy Blue Flag beach and lake, it's the ideal spot for a picnic and a swim. The bay offers excellent surfing too with the Atlantic rollers crashing on the shore. Achill Island is the largest island with a road bridge to the mainland. It encompasses dramatic land and seascapes, historic and archaeological sites and many activities from watersports, diving, fishing to golf, hang gliding and cycling.

The cottage was lovely, the views stunning and very cozy inside. Just a few small suggestions as someone who travels a lot on VRBO and Airbnb - most US guests would be looking for a book or folder that explains how the house works. A lot of US customers would not know enough about the hot water heater and the meter for electricity. I lived in Ireland before so I was somewhat familiar. Also a french press or some sort of simple pour over coffee filter would have been great. And all the beds were very comfortable apart from the twin bed closest to the door in that room - the mattress is in need of replacement. All in all we had such a lovely time and would love to come back!
