Traditional thatched cottage close to the coast at Wexford. Interiors are spacious and packed with old world charm. The location is perfect, the cottage sits on a quiet country road, just a 7 minute walk to the beautiful Blue Flag beach of Carne with many other beaches nearby.

This comfortable holiday home is very well equipped with a large sitting/dining room complete with an open fire for the cooler evenings. The pretty sun room opens onto the large lawned garden, the perfect spot for relaxing with friends or for the children to run around in. This popular property has plenty of room for eight guests with four double bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Carne is a lovely base from which to explore this beautiful area of Co. Wexford with many sandy beaches within easy reach. The coastline is varied with the unique sea inlet/lake at Our Lady's Island 1½ miles away. It’s great for horse riding too and there are a number of riding schools in the area plus two 18-hole golf courses just 7 miles 11 miles away, so be sure to pack your clubs. The nearby nature reserves are awash with sea birds and wild fowl, why not combine a walk with lunch at the nearby pub and simply relax.
