Get away from it all in this traditional detached cottage with excellent sea views, this is a remote and secluded spot. Visit nearby Staigue Fort, some 2,500 years old, picnic on the beach or hike the hills… there’s something for everyone!
This dog friendly holiday home is full of character with beamed ceilings and a wood burning stove. Interiors are well presented and comfortable with a cosy cottagy vibe. A great option for four guests with two bedrooms and a lovely open plan living space. Outside the south facing garden has the most amazing views… perfect for relaxing with a coffee over breakfast.
Take a stroll to Staigue Fort just ½ mile from the cottage. This is one of the finest stone forts in Ireland and the nearest beach is just a couple of miles away. Pack up a picnic and head to nearby Caherdaniel, a charming village with a fabulous sandy Blue Flag beach. Swim or kayak in the gin clear waters, hike along one of the many walking trails or take to the saddle and canter along the sands. Visit nearby Sneem, a colourful village with six pubs, live traditional music and excellent restaurants. Spend a day on one of the nearby beaches, go horse riding and deep sea, lake and river fishing, all available locally……. A very special place!
