The first unit has two single bedrooms, both comfortable and elegantly furnished, with air-conditioning, plus its dining room and bathroom (with shower). The second unit has an additional double bedroom and a twin room, plus a bathroom (with bath).
Both groups have a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable lounge, with cosy and open-planned seating areas. Together with Wi-Fi, microwave, oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine, dishwasher, iron, linen and towels, the facilities at this villa are second to none.
Enjoy hours of sunshine from morning until evening on the terrace, with your private pool, discreetly fenced to ensure your full privacy. The large landscaped garden, lined with palm trees, epitomises Mediterranean style, while the spacious terrace with a barbecue and dining area add to the outside charm - the perfect spot to enjoy an alfresco meal with family and friends.
There are plenty of sunbeds for all guests, ensuring complete relaxation. For the more adventurous holidaymaker, there’s a vast array of activities in the area from sailing to paragliding, to fishing and scuba diving. Villa Adelinda is situated in the one-time fishing village of Carvoeiro.
The compact town centre has a history dating back centuries, a spectacular landscape and an abundance of bars and restaurants. It also provides a choice of beautiful sandy beaches. It is the ideal place to enjoy the sunny days the Algarve has to offer!
Twenty years ago, Carvoeiro was a sleepy fishing village but had since developed into a characterful and famous tourist town. Its coastline, cliffs and coves are amongst the most beautiful in the whole of the Algarve.
Within a short walk from this property, you’ll find the shops, restaurants and bars of this much-loved resort. Most visitors give up on the idea of self-catering when they see what's on offer!
There is a beautiful municipal undercover market open every morning except Sunday, which sells the freshest fish and meat, plus a vast variety of fresh salad, fruit and vegetables.
Plus, Praia de Carvoeiro, with its beautifully sheltered sandy bay, is 1km away from the villa. The cliff tops, which protect the beach, offer plenty of scope for walking and some great views.
The most beautiful golf courses, equestrian centres, tennis facilities, water parks and a wide variety of water sports can all be found in the immediate proximity. There is also the possibility of enjoying the beautiful coastline and historic caves with boat excursions from Portimao’s harbour.
You’re 20 minutes from the Algarve’s prettiest town, Silves. Here, it’s well worth taking a leisurely walk along the river, past the orange and lemon trees. Or you can wander up the hill to the cathedral and Moorish castle. Both offer up great views of the town and surrounding countryside.
Or take a seat in the central square, with its landscaped gardens. Of course, there is no need to leave Carvoeiro at all as there is plenty to see and do right on the doorstep - it is a lovely spot and well deserves its reputation as a top Algarve holiday destination.
