    Susan – 10 Dec 2021
"Our party of 9’s age range was from 2 to 70 and we all agreed what a wonderful weekend it was. The children would have stayed in the hot tub all the time had we let them. A lovely cottage set in a lovely village location only a short drive from the sea and with a welcoming pub just a couple of minutes walk away. We couldn’t have wished for anything better."
    Elaine – 6 Nov 2021
"Fantastic house with a lovely host. The hot tub was beautiful. There is a lot to do locally and the fantastic Stapleton arms pub is just across the road. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!"

    Shirley – 30 Aug 2021
"We had a lovely family weekend to celebrate a 40th birthday, and the house worked for all of us (aged 2 to 71!). It had everything we needed, and Jen, the owner, was extremely helpful and welcoming."
    Claire – 29 Aug 2021
"Laburnum House was beautiful and had lots of character. The outside seating area was perfect for a bbq. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kids loved the nearby playground especially the zip wire. They also loved looking for sea glass on Seaham beach although there is not much in Seaham itself. However, lovely walks close to the house, and only a short drive to Durham. The nearby pub was also very handy with great food."
    Denise – 10 Aug 2021
"The house is a lovely house. There were a couple of problems with the showers but the owner was soon round to try and sort that out but that could happen with any property. I only mention this since it is why I have given it a score of 8 on the comfort and equipment."
    Jema – 1 Aug 2021
