Stroll into Horncastle and discover the many antique shops filled with interesting pieces, you might find something to take home with you, as well as cafés and restaurants, and of course traditional pubs to enjoy. Admire the 18th and 19th century architecture throughout the town, walking the cobbled streets and finding historic spots such as the Church of St Mary's with some of the original structure dating back to 1250, as well as browsing the weekly markets on Thursdays and Saturdays. Spend a fun day at Woodside Wildlife Park in Newball, home to tigers, white wolves, penguins and crocodiles to name a few, with a tea room here and a play area too, there's something for everyone. Enjoy a day trip to the city of Lincoln to visit Lincoln Castle, a Normam fortress which was later used as a prison, as well as the 11th century Lincoln Cathedral, once boasting the title of the tallest building in the world, not forgetting the medieval ruins of Lincoln Medieval Bishops' Palace and of course the many bars and restaurants here too.
