Beautiful converted barn. Beds were so comfy and gorgeous white crisp linen. Lots of towels and kitchen well equipped with tea towels and washing up liquid etc. The hot tub perfect. The football game was a little bit of escapism not to mention good fun! The little goody hamper was so welcome as was the milk in the fridge! The accommodation is full enclosed so dogs can roam without the worry of them running into the field. You can pull car right up to the door, that's a bonus. Local shops in Kelvedon just down the road, Tiptree, Maldon and Mersea all an easy, quick drive. Definitely recommend this property and we will return.

Stayed here as two couples with our dogs, would highly recommend Popps Barn to family and friends, had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend. Everything you need to know is in the booklet from takeaways to emergency dentists or doctors. The treats left for the dogs were very much appreciated. Thank you

Lovely clean comfortable cottage.. Very spacious.. Very comfy bed. Had a lot of time sitting in unfortunately due to weather and sofa bed in living room wasn't the comfiest..also dog struggled on the hard floor and paws kept slipping away from him.. Was like watching bambi on ice... But was a lovely cottage that had everything we needed... Had a few issues with takeaway deliverys.. No one could find us so husband had to meet out on main road.. I think perhaps the Popps barn sign needed to be a little bigger and visible.. But these are not negative comments.. Just maybe things to consider to help make things better..
