Located a short walk from the parking area (150 metres), this lodge has been lovingly designed with everything you need for a luxurious woodland adventure. The interior is light and bright, with an open-plan, studio-style layout and plenty of cosy touches. A streamlined kitchenette and fold-out dining table sit next to double patio doors, which open to invite indoor-outdoor living. There’s a comfortable sofa, which can fold out to accommodate an extra two guests if required, while the sleeping area consists of a double bed and a set of bunk beds for two, which can be separated by a privacy curtain. A sleek shower room completes the interior, but the garden doubles your living space. Dine alfresco on the picnic table, sink into the hot tub with a glass of wine to watch the stars, and toast marshmallows over the fire pit.
One of a handful of self-catering properties at Toppesfield Hall, guests have shared access to a dog paddock, a woodland area and an outdoor tennis court. It’s a short stroll to Toppesfield village (0.5 miles) where you can stock up on basics at the village shop and enjoy a tipple at the pub and brewery.
