Situated in the small, peaceful village of Applethwaite, between the lakes of Bassenthwaite and Derwentwater, this ground floor apartment is nestled amongst some of the Lake District s most breathtaking scenery. Keen walkers will appreciate the wealth of walks on their doorstep, including the ramble up Latrigg, which affords panoramic views of Keswick and the surrounding fells, whereas the more adventurous might prefer to hike to the top of Skiddaw. Despite its rural location, this property is only 1.5 miles from the shops, eateries and outdoor equipment specialists of Keswick. For something a little more sedate, why not head to the historic house, gardens and woodland at Mirehouse or visit the popular Derwent Pencil Museum. This ground floor apartment is clean and modern with some beautiful views of the garden and the countryside beyond. Once you ve parked up, head down the twenty steps to the front door and take off muddy shoes in the convenient porch.
