The nearest town of Broughton in Furness (2.5 miles) is a delightful village with local butchers, shops and multiple pubs. To the north, there is ample adventure enjoy a thrilling drive over the challenging Hardknott Pass (10.5 miles), the steepest road in England, before descending into the postcard village of Eskdale (11.5 miles) where you can enjoy a day out on the La al Ratty.
