The scenery is, of course, absolutely stunning and Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are both within easy reach, as is Grizedale Forest, with its walking routes, sculpture trail and high ropes centre. Entering this handsome double fronted property, which has a homely and welcoming atmosphere, guests will come to the hallway, which has doors on either side leading to the reception rooms. The first of these, to the right hand side is a lounge with an open fire, bay window, and comfortable seating. This room is separated from the attached TV room by a curtain, giving this space the flexibility to be used to suit guests needs. The TV room has a TV/DVD. Crossing back over the hall, the dining room is spacious with a large table seating twelve, Welsh dressers, and a piano that guests are welcome to play. An archway from here leads through to a second lounge, with comfortable sofas. A corridor from the this room leads to the kitchen with its freestanding units, Range style cooker, fridge, and dishwasher. Next to the kitchen is a large boot room, with plenty of shelving to keep muddy footwear, a freezer, a shower room with WC and a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, and a second fridge. Stairs from the hall lead to the bedrooms which are all located on the first floor. There are seven bedrooms. Three double bedrooms have small, en suite cubicles with shower, sink and WC.
