Located in a quiet area, but very close to all amenities. On-street parking, but had no problem at all finding a space directly outside.

House was cleaned very nicely. Location is perfect to explore the town itself and roam around the lake district. Amenities wise, you will find everything in the house which was nice. They had very lots of maps, guide books for you to find more about surrounding places which was very helpful. Finding parking in front of the house was not a problem if you arrive early in the day but as you arrive a bit late be ready to park a bit far from the house but not 3-4 mins walk away. You can use the leisure center but you need to come prepared with your accessories and also check their time table. Coming to downside of it, after long and tiring drive and walk around the area one needs a comfortable mattress to sleep on, however, mattress in master bedroom wasn't upto the mark. It felt like a spring one and you could feel the springs on your back. Thankfully one of the beds in twin bedroom had a better mattress so that was a saviour for me. Apart from this the biggest challenge was the silly rules, who asks guests to clean all the utensils a day in advance and keep it where it was. Don't you expect people to do breakfast in the morning of checkout. As a guest my duty is to make sure house is kept the way it was which we always ensure too but that shouldn't mean that I do majority of the cleaning of your house before leaving especially when I am there for my holidays. That's too much to expect.
