Cazenovia Hall is a well-received holiday rental with guests praising its high standard of furnishings, idyllic location, and welcoming touches such as a generous hamper. While most experiences were positive, noting the property's cosiness and suitability for groups, there were some concerns about maintenance and a significant issue with flies during one stay.
The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with many guests finding it clean and well-managed. However, one review mentioned an overwhelming presence of flies, which impacted the cleanliness experience negatively.
The location is consistently lauded for its beauty and tranquillity, with guests appreciating the stunning views and proximity to local attractions. The setting is described as idyllic and a highlight for many visitors.
Guests find the beds comfortable and the property cosy, especially with the log burning stove. There was a minor issue with a summer duvet being too small, but overall, the comfort level is rated highly.
The facilities are generally praised, especially the kitchen and the welcome hamper. However, some guests feel that certain aspects of the property require upgrades and maintenance, such as bathroom fixtures and linens.
The provision of a welcome hamper and other amenities is frequently mentioned and appreciated by guests, indicating a high level of thoughtfulness. It should be noted that such gifts, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We love coming to Cazenovia Hall with our family. Everyone has a comfortable bedroom and private bathroom which we all appreciate. We did, however, have a faulty fridge on arrival but it was repaired the next morning and we were able to use a fridge in a neighbouring property overnight. The towel rails in two of the bathrooms were also not working, we left a message about this on departure. There was also a shortage of forks and teaspoons. These things did not spoil our holiday but perhaps things like this should be checked at each change over. We will certainly return to Blencow in the future.
