Guests have had a delightful stay at Woodland Nook Lodge, praising its cleanliness, comfort, and tranquil location. The lodge's proximity to attractions and the inclusion of a well-equipped kitchen and cosy furnishings have contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall sentiment remains highly positive.
The majority of guests found the lodge to be very clean and well-presented, with only a few isolated comments about specific areas needing deeper cleaning. The consistent remarks on cleanliness contribute to a high score.
The lodge's location is frequently highlighted as peaceful and ideal for exploring the Lake District, with easy access to nearby towns and attractions. The quiet cul-de-sac setting is appreciated, enhancing the location score.
Comfort is well-regarded with guests mentioning the lodge's warmth and cosiness. However, some guests noted the mattresses were too firm, slightly impacting the comfort score.
Facilities are generally praised, including the on-site bar and restaurant, though some guests experienced issues with outdoor lighting and internet connectivity. A noisy gas delivery was a one-off incident but did affect the experience for those guests.
While guests have expressed appreciation for the lodge's amenities and the festive decorations during Christmas, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Set in a very peaceful spot, just a shame we didnât get the weather to enjoy the large deck. Itâs very spacious and has a door between the living space and the bedrooms which is ideal if you have kids. Having two toilets and two showers is also a plus. Would definitely recommend! You can walk into Bowness-On-Windermere from the site too.
