Go crabbing on Cromer Pier (7.5 miles) and visit the quaint villages of North Walsham (3.5 miles), Aylsham (4 miles) and Mundesley (6 miles), which has a wonderful beach. Norwich is only 17 miles away, home to a 12th-century cathedral and Norman castle, and the Norfolk Broads are nearby too (15 miles).
