Stylishly decorated, with elegant furnishing throughout, this lovingly updated retreat is perfect for walkers, beach lovers, nature spotters and cyclists eager to experience an unforgettable part of the county.
The main lounge offers a TV, an open fireplace and soft furnishings, providing a lovely space for watching a movie in the evenings. There’s also a stylish lounge/diner, again with a Smart TV, comfortable seating, and a welcoming wood burner, as well as a light-filled dining area perfect for family get-togethers. The airy kitchen has a wealth of equipment and a charming central breakfast table. The ground floor also features a shower room, boot room and a utility room with a pantry. Upstairs, there’s a refreshing family bathroom and four cheerful bedrooms decorated in light pastel shades: two doubles, a single and a super-king-size room. Outside, the garden occupies two acres and has a big lawn surrounded by flower borders and mature trees, with herb planters, a patio, BBQ, outdoor furniture and even a small area of woodland. A wealth of wildlife can be spotted visiting the garden and surrounding fields including rabbits, hares, pheasants, buzzards and red deer.
The nearest beach is less than a mile away, with the coastal path heading north to Happisburgh, Eccles-on-Sea and Sea Palling, and south to Caister-on-Sea and Great Yarmouth, all within 15 miles. Inland, family attractions include Bewilderwood Norfolk, East Ruston Old Vicarage Garden and Hickling Broad, all within 14 miles.

Poplar Farm house is a superb holiday accommodation. Beautifully laid out and exceptionally well equipped, with an extremely large garden to relax in. Fantastic location for the coast and the Broads. Louise and Martin were also wonderful hosts. All in all, one of the best holiday homes we've ever stayed in

Had a fantastic week at Poplar Farm. The owners were very welcoming and the welcome pack was superb, including a delicious home made cake. The house is very well equipped, everything you could need, a real home from home. All the bedrooms were clean, comfortable and airy. Both sitting rooms have large comfortable sofas, games and a large toy box which was a god send when it rained all day. The large garden is wonderful for dogs and children to safely play and explore the little wooded area. Lots of seating in the garden to relax and enjoy the peace and spot the wildlife. Ideal place for family holidays. We had such a fantastic week the kids didn't want to go home. We would definitely go back.
